Fresh Cut Flowers: Three (3) easy tips will make your fresh flowers last and last.
- When you receive them, immediately cut each stem at an angle with pruning sheers or a knife.
- Remove extra leaves from the lower part of the stem, leaving some near the bloom so the nutrients in the stem feed the bloom.
- Refill or replace water daily or as needed.
Floral Arrangements: When your arrangement arrives, check the water level. For optimum results, add water daily keeping the level near the top of your vase or container.
Finally, be sure to place your fresh flowers in a location that will help preserve their beauty. Avoid putting your flowers in direct sunlight, or areas with drafts, extreme heat or cold. If you follow these simple steps, your flowers will stay fresh for many days with just a minimum of daily upkeep.
